The Morning Litany – January 6, 2013

Categories: Church,Litany

The Morning Litany was written by Reverend Robert Harvey.

A Litany of Communion

Leader:  God of heaven and earth, we gather today to receive strength in unity, fellowshipping around the table through the breaking of bread and drinking of the cup.

People:  God of heaven and earth, we gather today in order to drink of that one cup, the cup of love that Jesus taught us to drink as he loved all persons.

Leader:  God of heaven and earth, we gather holistically—mind, body, and soul—to offer you a sacrifice of praise for the cross, the death, the resurrection, and life to come.

All:  Let us praise the Lord together on our knees.
