Categories: Bible,Church,Litany

The Morning Litany was written by Reverend Carrington Moore.

Responsive Litany

Leader:  Transformation is what we need, hope for and desire. Lord, bring about transformation in our lives, communities and this world.

People:  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

Leader:  God, there are many sins for which we need forgiveness. Eternal God, there are social ills from which we need deliverance. God our saving grace, create in us clean hearts and renew in us steadfast spirits.

People:  And I am sure of this, that God who began a good work in us will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Leader:  God of mercy and love, transform our hearts and minds into the image of Christ. Let our lives be reflections of Your perfect will.

All:  Day by day, Lord, transform my way into Your way of living. Help me to grow into my faith in You so that I will develop into the image I was created to be. Amen.
