Greetings Parents of College Students!

This is the time of year that the deacons put together care packages for our undergraduate college students to help them get through this season of finals and the end of another year. We like them to know that their Myrtle family is thinking about them and praying for them. In order for us to reach out to them, we need to have their school address to send the package. Please send an email with their name and address no later than Tuesday, April 7th to deaconrobinson@gmail. com.

Please join us every Wednesday morning at 6:00am for our weekly prayer conference call. The dial-in number is (605) 562-3000 and passcode is 458869. We gather to hear a brief devotional and unite in prayer as a church family. We look forward to continuing to seek the Lord with each of you.

Friday, April 10, 2015
LYFE Youth Ministry will hold its FIYA Friday Youth Fellowship on Friday, April 10 at Fun & Games in Framingham from 7:00-9:30pm. All teens are welcome to come out and enjoy fun, food and fellowship. There will be a variety of games and activities that youth will have the opportunity to participate in. Please see a member of the Youth Committee for questions or to sign up.

On Wednesday, April 15, 2015, we will hold our next installment of our Howard Haywood Lecture Series at 7:00pm. We will hear from Dr. Cheryl Giles, Francis Greenwood Peabody Senior Lecturer on Pastoral Care and Counseling at Harvard Divinity School.

The Myrtle Women’s Ministry would like to invite all ladies to share in this year’s Women’s Weekend, which will be held from Friday, May 8—Sunday, May 10, 2015. The weekend is open to women of all ages, and participants are encouraged to bring a friend. There is no cost to attend, however each woman is asked to prayerfully consider making a contribution to help with expenses for the weekend. A light dinner will be provided on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday morning, we will hear a word from the Lord from Minister Denise Cummings. We look forward to a weekend of praise, fellowship and worship. Youth Retreat
LYFE Youth Ministry will host the 2015 LYFE Youth Unity Retreat on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Boys & Girls Club of Boston (15 Talbot Avenue, Dorchester, MA 02124) from 9:00am-10:00pm.

Youth ages 11-18 are invited to come out and participate in a day of insightful dialogue, creativity, friends and fun!
Costs: $12 for ages 11-12, $15 for ages 13+ ($25 maximum fee for families). There is a $5 discount for both participants if you bring a friend! All meals will be provided.

Junior Church
To assist in the spiritual development of our young people ages five to twelve, we will begin Youth Connection (Junior Church) beginning May 17, 2015. If you are interested in teaching or assisting in any capacity to make Youth Connection possible, please contact Youth Pastor Cary. Your help is greatly needed and appreciated.

Myrtle Summer Institute
We are seeking volunteer instructors for the Myrtle Institute 2015 Summer Session who can energize and inform over the summer months. Most courses last for four to six sessions and we will work with you to accommodate your schedule. We also want to hear from you if there are topics you would like covered and would come to learn about if those topics were offered. If you are interested please send Myrtle an email providing your course idea, title, description, format and proposed dates between June and September.

    To whom this may concern
    I’m pleased to announce that my son Shawn M Harrington is graduating on June 4th from Madison Park Technical Vocational High and moving into his career of V Radio And TV Broadcasting. And Kessiah Simmons is graduating from Young Achievers Math and Science 8th grade to Snowden International High School in Copley. We want to wish them the very best.

    I have to mention my ill brother Paul Crowder who is fighting acute renal failure at the Brigham and Woman’s Hospital
    please wish him well and pray for him.
