In addition to our Wednesday evening activities at the church, we will hold our 6am Prayer Conference Calls on each week on Wednesday mornings. The FIYA Friday Teen Fellowship Holiday Dinner will take place on Friday, December 5, 2014 beginning at 6:00pm. Everyone interested in attending should contact Reverend Cary as soon as possible.

Saturday, December 6, 2014

The community of Myrtle Baptist Church will not stand idle in the glaring injustice of the recent non-indictments of police officers involved in the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. Join us on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 4:00pm in front of Myrtle Baptist Church for a silent march from Prospect Street to Washington Street down to West Newton Square. Participants are asked to bring signs that speak to their concerns on this pressing issue in our nation. The police have been notified of this event. Please share this event with your networks.

Elders of Color

The Elders of Color Holiday Luncheon will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2014 at noon. Please join us for our holiday festivities. Elders are asked to bring their favorite dessert to share.

Young Adult Community Service Project

The Elders of Color will be going to see Motown the Musical on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 2:00 p,m, The tickets are $108.00 if you are not riding on the bus. If you are riding on the bus the tickets are $125.00. A full payment must be made no later than Sunday, December 14, 2014. Please see Sister Frances Gadsden or email Rev. We are collecting toys for children in need this holiday season. Please place your new, unwrapped gift for a boy or girl under the age of 13 in the labeled collection box in the Agape Room. Toys will be collected until Sunday, December 14.
