Step 1: Know that God loves you and wants to give you a new life.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Step 2: See that your sin has separated you from God and the life He desires to give you. 

“As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:10, 23).

Step 3: Realize that Jesus Christ died for you, and rose again so that He might give you eternal life. He died for you.

“God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).  He was buried and rose again.

Step 4: Confess your sins to God and turn away from them to serve God faithfully.

“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out” (Acts 3:19).

Step 5: Receive Jesus Christ by faith, accepting Him alone as your Lord and Savior.

“As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1:12).
